Taylor's 'Family Fun Week'

I got to sneak in one day up at Hood River with Taylor's family, as part of their official Family Fun Week vacation.

We watched the windsurfers and kite boarders, wine tasted at three vineyards, played some cards and Cranium (and laughed a lot), saw TB's bestie Ketler, and ate a delicious meal at Full Sail Brewing. It was great spending time with the Bethells!

Mt. Hood Winery was my favorite of the three we visited...awesome weather, gorgeous double-mountain views, delicious wine, and good company.

Super Sunday in Hood River

A few weeks ago, we drove up to Hood River and headed out on the Post Canyon mountain biking trails with one of Taylor's besties, Ketler. 

Taylor was smart to plan this trip as my first official mountain biking outing because Ketler served as the perfect buffer between my frustrations with being a first-timer and my enjoyment of the experience. I can't wait to go again.
