Wooosh!
I've been a slacker on the blogfront, but for good reason: It's finally summer here in the PNW! You know what that means--weddings, barbecues, any- and everything outdoors, and especially avoiding the computer when not at work. But, c'mon! I have to document all of these fun things.
So, let me start by chronicling our first wedding of '12, that of Kate and Drew out at Edgefield. It was a scorcher of a day, July 8, as well as one with many coincidences. You may recall--OK, actually, you probably don't recall things like I do--but exactly one year to-the-day prior,
Taylor served as a groomsman in his buddy's wedding at Edgefield. We had a blast at that wedding, and knowing how much fun Kate's family is without a wedding in the mix, I knew we were in for a GOOD time.
Kate is Kelley's barely older sister. Kelley has been one of my best friends since third grade. Although we weren't as close back in grade school, Kate since has become just one of the girls, which I couldn't be happier about. There. Now you know the relationship. Kate met Drew when she was working in Germany, and her sweetie followed her back to Oregon. Drew's from New York and a real good guy. He loves the great outdoors, and he loves kooky Kate. They're a perfect fit and certainly a fun addition to any social circle.
Congratulations to Kate and Drew. We. Love. You!
Now...the photos, which interestingly ended right before dancing...hmmm...!
